K.C. CORCORAN has written
one novel, but it’s been 10+ years and
his drinking and gambling since the weak sales
and mediocre reviews re: same book has caused
his girlfriend BECKY to give K.C. “the
boot”. K.C. then takes a remote mountain
cabin – sight unseen – in order
to find redemption through the writing of a
new book. The small-town locals, however, have
something to say about this idea, and K.C.
finds himself pulled into the relationship
dramas of a group of angry and frustrated
“fringe-dwellers”.
