Dick Delson has extensive public relations, advertising, promotional and marketing experience and expertise. He has written for film, television, radio and the press. In 2003, he was one of only three recipients of the prestigious Golden Satellite Award from the International Press Academy for Outstanding Service to the Entertainment Industry.
Delson has been involved in high level policy and project planning and execution for entities such as Walt Disney Productions, Filmways Pictures, MCA, Inc./Universal Pictures and the Executive Branch of the Federal Government, Puerto Rico's Industrial and Tourism program "Operation Bootstrap," and the Jamaica, West Indies Industrial Development Corporation.
In addition, Delson has provided publicity for the People's Choice Awards and strategized numerous Oscar & Golden Globe campaigns. And represented such films as “American Graffiti”, “Jaws 1 & 2”, “Chicago”, “Goodfellas”, “Kill Bill 1 & 2”, “The Lord of the Rings”, and dozens more.
Delson has been a major part of the Academy Award campaign PR team for Miramax Films from 1998 through 2003. During that 5-year period Miramax has been represented with 11 successive Best Picture Academy Award nominations, winning three Best Picture Oscars for "Chicago," "Shakespeare in Love" and "The English Patient."
Delson has supervised the press activities of hundreds of major motion pictures, independent films, television series and specials involving campaigns for Oscars & Golden Globes in the Academy Award competitions of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. In addition, he has handled corporate financial publicity, public relations for MCA, sports marketing, public relations and publicity for health issues, book authors and professional athletes as well as motion picture personalities such as Sylvester Stallone, James Coburn, Michael Constantine and numerous others. He has been involved in hundreds of campaigns of the Directors Guild of America Awards, the Writers Guild of America Awards, Producers Guild Awards, Casting Society Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, Art Directors Guild Awards, British Academy of Film & Television Awards and Independent Film Awards.

FILM PANEL - Composers Perspective For Filmmakers
Join us for a discussion panel with Film and TV composers Nick Dyer, Eric Cadesky and Darren Fung plus Carl Zittrer, music supervisor/editor extraordinaire. The discussion will cover numerous topics and anecdotes from the composers perspective that could save you time and money on your next project. Some of the issues discussed will be the pros and cons of using temp music as a guide for a film composer. The practicality, benefits and challenges of using live musicians over a synthesized score. Important things to know about clearing music rights for source music. When stock music makes more sense then custom music for a film. Things to consider when making a post schedule for a composer. When to start onsidering clearing source music for your film, etc. Visual aids and amusing stories from the trenches should make this a lively discussion not to be missed.
The panel will include -
Nick Dyer and Eric Cadesky - Toronto based composers who have been composing music as a team for over 12 years. They have worked on Feature Films starring Forest Whitaker, Colm Meaney and Paul Sorvino. Their unique approach to music has earned them a reputation for being innovative and original.
Darren Fung - Montreal based film composer, conductor and arranger who has worked extensively with live orchestras for numerous feature films including Father vs. Son, Take me Back and Just Buried. He is the youngest member of the Board of Directors for the Guild of Canadian Film Composers, where he co-chairs the committee responsible for its national publication, Spotting Notes.
Carl Zittrer - U.S. and Toronto based music supervisor, music editor and composer who has been in the film business for dozens of years. He has extensive studio experience with live orchestras as a music editor and has cleared music for countless films and TV shows. He has composed the scores for films such as Prom Night, A Christmas Story, Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things and Porky’s.

Andrea Lodovichetti was born in Fano (Italy) in 1976. Graduated in Film Directing at the *Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – National Shool of Cinema *in Rome, since 2005 is assistant director for *Paolo Sorrentino *(movies: “L’amico di famiglia” -a.k.a. “The family friend”- and “Il Divo”). He wrote and directed several shorts and won a lot of international Awards.
“Sotto il mio giardino” /*(Under my Garden) written and directed as “thesys” (degree movie) at Centro Sperimentale, in 2009 won the *Golden Globe *as Best Short Movie, the “/Looking for Genius/” prize (Babelgum Film Festival, *Cannes 2008*) headed by *Spike Lee *and it’s the _most internationally awarded and screened Italian short ever_. With all his works, Andrea has been selected in Film Festivals from all around the world: United States, Morocco, Greece, Kenya, Estonia, Uk, Irekand, Scotland, Spain France, Argentina, Canada, Serbia, Bulgary, Hungary, Russia, Czech Republic, Australia, Germany, Portugal, Cina, Japan, India.
